Anusha Sundarrajan
( She/Her/Hers )Dr. Anusha Sundarrajan (she/her) PhD, CCC-SLP is a multilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, from a South Asian background, specializing in voice disorders. She earned her Ph.D. in Speech Language Pathology and a minor in Gerontology at Purdue University. Her current position is at San Francisco State University (SFSU) as an Assistant Professor in the department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Her primary research interests focus on understanding gender affirming voice care from a culturally responsive lens to develop patient centered outcomes and interventions. Another line of work centers around interprofessional education and practices, particularly their implementation in speech, language and hearing sciences and collaborations with other professions. She is the co-supervisor of the gender affirming voice clinic, one of its very first kind on campus and the director of the Find Your Voice Research Lab in the department. She is the Vice President of Professional Development of the South Asian Caucus of American Speech Language Hearing Association and the faculty advisor of the Indian Student Association at SFSU.
