A New Program for New Leaders

 

San Francisco State University is pleased to offer a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership for individuals who have demonstrated leadership in educational administration or policy. Cohorts begin each fall.

 

This innovative program has a distinct mission: to prepare educational leaders for California public schools and community colleges who will transform their organizations to enhance learning and achievement for all students.. The program prepares leaders working in communities in which reducing gaps in learning and achievement and equalizing access to learning are predominant goals. • Study as part of a cohort, which is a group that stays together from the beginning of the program and develops community and support.
• Attend class every other weekend and in the summer.
• Complete the program in three years.
• Learn from a distinguished interdisciplinary faculty.
• Participate in a dynamic learning community.
