Applying to CSU and to the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership is a two-part process.

 

 

Part One: Applying to the California State University (CSU)

Part Two: Applying to the Ed.D. Program

 

Apply to the Ed.D. Program in Educational Leadership using Forms A, B and C.

 

  1. Form A: Personal Statement (must be typed, 1000-word limit)- Form A (.pdf)

     

  2. Form B: Submit three (3) letters of recommendation. Each recommender must complete and sign a copy of Form B and attach it to the letter of recommendation. The writer’s signature must appear across the flap of the envelope. Form B (.pdf)

     

  3. Form C: Support Letter from Employer Form C (.pdf)

     

  4. Submit your curriculum vitae.

     

  5. Submit one set of official transcripts from all post-secondary programs attended with the program application. (A second set must be sent to the University as part of the CSU Mentor online application) Unofficial transcripts can be submitted, but official transcripts must be on file, including transcripts with posted bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sealed envelopes, by the time of admission.

     

  6. Submit GRE scores. Unofficial scores can be submitted with your application package, but official scores will be necessary for admission. You may ask GRE to send scores using Institution Code 4684, but supply a paper copy as well.
