The Cahill Learning Resources and Media Lab has 12 eMac stations with CD writers available for general student use. Select computers have scanners and DVD writers. No printing available on computers. Printing is available in the College of Education Computer Lab in Burk Hall 214.

Internet Multimedia Word Processing
Internet Explorer Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Word
Safari iMovie Microsoft Excel
FireFox iDVD Microsoft PowerPoint
Netscape iPhoto  
 

 
Faculty Equipment Check-Out
Faculty can check out equipment for classroom use including:
  • LCD Projectors with Computers
  • VCR/DVD's with Monitors
  • Slide Projectors
  • Overhead Projectors
  • Camcorders and Accessories
Because media equipment is limited, faculty members must call ahead for a reservation. Semester reservations can be made at the counter. All equipment must be picked up and returned to the lab during open hours unless prior arrangements have been made.
 

 
Video Production Equipment
With permission from an instructor, students can check-out the following video equipment for class projects. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance and check-out is limited to 24 hours or the weekend.
  • Digital Camcorders
  • Tripods
  • Microphones
Please note that students in the ITEC video editing classes have priority use of the video production equipment. Please pick up reservation forms at the front counter.
 

 
Video Editing Equipment
Students and faculty may use video production/editing equipment during lab hours. Reservations are required.
  • Stations to digitalize and edit video using iMovie
  • VHS Duplication
